Here I am showing tiffin boxes to two children.
Lower Box: Katte Pongali: Add rice and gram dal in the lower box and wash them. Add salt, 4 times water = 2/3 cup water, pepper powder, cumin, turmeric and ghee.
Top box: Add unflavored plain Greek yogurt or strained yogurt or curd, condensed milk, cardamom powder and milk-soaked saffron and mix everything in a bowl with a spoon or fork.
Add 20 ml of water and keep the katori inside.
Seal the tiffin box and pressure cook in Instapot on rice setting (13 minutes).
After this is done, throw the water in the upper box.
Masala is optional in Pongal. Put cumin and cashew seeds in 1 teaspoon of ghee and add it to Pongal.
When/with what to serve:
It can be a good lunch box for kids.
