Lemon Rice powder – any store available lemon rice powder such as MTR 1 packet or half cup lemon juice
Coconut gratedfrozen or fresh = 1 cup
Cilantrowashed thoroughly chopped = 1 cup
Green chillies – sliced long
Ginger – small pieces
Cashews – 5
peanuts 8
Seasoning
Oil
Mustard seeds
Chana dal
Urad dal
Curry leaves
Hing
Salt to taste
Instructions
In a pan put 6 tablespoonfuls of oil. When hot add red chilies, mustard seeds. When mustard seeds splutter add chana dal and urad dal then add cashews and peanuts and jeera and curry leaves, green chilies. Then add the MTR lemon rice powder.
Next add grated coconut. When cool add cilantro. Add this to cooked rice and mix thoroughly.
